Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 3 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix instant
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding Base

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until it starts to thicken. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.

Layering the Ingredients

  • In a trifle bowl or individual cups, start with a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom. Add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries. Spoon a generous amount of pudding over the fruit. Repeat layers until the dish is full, ending with a layer of pudding.

Chilling

  • Cover the pudding and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften slightly.

Notes

  • 1- Use cold ingredients for a smoother pudding texture.
  • 2- Slice bananas right before layering to prevent browning, or use a little lemon juice.
  • 3- Serve with whipped cream or extra berries for a special touch.
