Ingredients
  

Cookie Base

  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.5 cup oats
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter good quality
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

Caramel Layer

  • 1 cup caramels soft
  • 2 tablespoons cream

Topping

  • 0.5 cup toffee bits

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cookie Base

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, oats, sugar, butter, and peanut butter until combined. Press half the mixture into the prepared pan.

Add Caramel Layer

  • In a saucepan, melt caramels with cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour over the cookie base.

Assemble and Bake

  • Sprinkle toffee bits over the caramel layer. Crumble remaining cookie dough over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set. Cool completely before cutting.

Notes

  • 1- Use cold ingredients for a firmer texture.
  • 2- Adjust caramel sweetness to taste.
  • 3- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
