Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins soaked in warm water for 10 minutes and drained

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in oats and raisins.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • 1- Use softened butter for a chewy texture.
  • 2- Soak raisins for plumpness.
  • 3- Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
