Making your own homemade chocolate syrup is not only easy but also a fun way to add a personal touch to your desserts and drinks. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up a rich and delicious syrup that beats anything you can find in the store.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder high-quality recommended
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract do not use imitation
  • 1 pinch salt enhances flavor

Instructions
 

  • Combine cocoa powder and granulated sugar in a medium-sized saucepan. Whisk them together well to prevent clumps.
  • Slowly pour in the water, stirring constantly to create a smooth paste. Turn the heat to medium and continue stirring.
  • Let the mixture simmer gently for 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Allow the syrup to cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • 1- Use high-quality cocoa powder for the best flavor.
  • 2- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
  • 3- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month.
