Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 0.75 cup milk or buttermilk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut cold butter into small cubes and blend into dry ingredients until mixture is coarse and crumbly.
  • Gently fold in blueberries and milk until just combined.
  • Pat dough on a floured surface to 3/4 inch thickness and cut into biscuits.
  • Place biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Glaze

  • Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle glaze over warm biscuits after baking.

Notes

  • 1- Use cold ingredients for flakier biscuits.
  • 2- If using frozen blueberries, thaw and drain well.
  • 3- Serve warm with whipped cream or coffee for an extra treat.
