Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend is great
  • 2 tbsp garlic butter store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce sweet, smoky, or spicy to taste
  • 8 tortillas flour or corn
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • fresh cilantro optional, chopped
  • red onion optional, diced
  • sour cream optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Beef Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef with a pinch of baking soda and salt.
  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Stir in garlic butter, honey, and BBQ sauce until beef is coated. Simmer for a few minutes until sauce thickens.

Assemble the Tacos

  • Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
  • Spoon beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, cilantro, red onion, and sour cream if desired.
