Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened, preferably European-style for extra creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt adjust if using salted butter

Instructions
 

  • Soften the butter by leaving it at room temperature for a couple of hours or microwaving in short bursts until soft but not melted.
  • In a bowl, combine the softened butter with parsley, chives, thyme, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and kosher salt.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Serve immediately as a sauce, or form into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate until firm for easy slicing.

Notes

  • 1- Use cold ingredients for flakier biscuits.
  • 2- Taste the apple filling and adjust spices as needed.
  • 3- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
