Ingredients
  

Essential Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour (heat-treated)
  • 0.5 cup butter (softened) use good quality butter, not margarine
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract use pure vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate recommended

For Dipping

  • 1 cup chocolate (melted) milk, dark, or semi-sweet

Instructions
 

Preparing the Dough

  • Heat treat the flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F for 5 minutes, then let it cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract, then gradually add the heat-treated flour and salt until a dough forms.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and place them on a parchment-lined tray.

Dipping in Chocolate

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip each dough ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, then place back on the parchment-lined tray.

Chilling

  • Chill the dipped cookie dough bites in the fridge for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
