Ingredients
  

Fresh Chicken Tenders

  • 1 pound chicken tenders Fresh is best, but thawed frozen tenders can be used

Honey Butter Garlic Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic Freshly minced
  • soy sauce A splash

Seasoning Essentials

  • salt To taste
  • black pepper Freshly ground
  • paprika A dash
  • red pepper flakes A pinch, optional

Breading Station

  • all-purpose flour Seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika
  • 1 egg Beaten
  • panko breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

Preparing the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  • Optional: Marinate the chicken tenders in a mixture of olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder for 15-20 minutes.
  • Set up a breading station with seasoned flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs. Dip each tender in flour, then egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Making the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, a splash of soy sauce, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened slightly. Keep warm on low heat.

Air Frying to Perfection

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Toss the hot chicken tenders in the honey butter garlic sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • 1- Use cold ingredients for flakier biscuits.
  • 2- Taste the apple filling and adjust spices as needed.
  • 3- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
